Yeah, Le Labo is a very nice fragrance company with an interesting marketing strategy (ultra simple packaging, simple names/numbers, essentially letting the fragrances speak for themselves). I especially like their Patchouli 24, which is one of my staples for the wintertime. It's really quite unique... very dark and smokey... it is often described as a sort of extreme version of Bulgari Black (it is made by the same parfumer). They are quite different, but the comparison isn't totally unwarranted.
There are several rose scents that are unconventional takes that many men are "warming up" to... the Rose 31 is one of the most recent, but also L'artisans Voleur de Rose and TDC's Rose Poivree are also really interesting (and less expensive).
