How can I have my oxford buttondown collar have this shape?

I'd like to make some oxford buttondowns with the following attached collar:

I am wondering how they can have that collar. Is it because the points are longer? I like the slight roll it has to it.

The length of the collar is part of it but it seems to me (and I've never tried to make a collar so I really don't know) is that the positioning of the buttons is just as important.
I'd just tell him that you want a long buttondown with a lot of roll and I imagine he'd know what you're looking for. Or else just bring that photo.

I don't think that the CT photo is necessarily a roll; it looks to me like the collar has been pushed out to make it look more interesting.
I'd agree with my Cambridge friend - the effect does depend on the length of the collar, and you could move the buttons to 'hack' it.
