Question:
I have MBA admissions interviews coming up, so I'm looking to pick up a new suit. I have my eye on these:
"http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=190170118009&ssPa geName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=009"
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=190170150476&ssPa geName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=009
Is either one a good choice? If not, what else should I look at? I'd like to keep it under $500 if possible. Thanks in advance for your help :)
Answer:
In terms of styling, you're definitely on the right track. Personally, I wouldn't want to pay that much for a Hugo Boss suit, but I can understand that you might not be in a position to do a lot of bargain hunting.
Answer:
The price for these is about what the average off-price retailer charges. So it is an ok deal but not a great one. I am not a fan of those two models however. If I remember correctly, The first one is a 3 button, no vents, no flap pockets on the jacket, a look I am not crazy about. I have seen the 96% wool 4% elastane fabric in person and did not care for it at all.
Hugo Boss happens to fit me very well off the rack so I am not as against it as others might be. I have the Bertolucci model suit. 2 button, center vent model. This might be more the styling you are looking for.
Depending on your time constraints you should be able to find something of better quality on e-bay for that price.
Answer:
Note that the charcoal is ventless which is a deal-killer for a lot of people, but is a matter of personal preference.

Thanks guys. Are pinstripes out of the question? I ran across
this Zegna, and I have to say that I realy like it.
