Question:
I know that standard business attire is generally a navy or charcoal suit, and that designs like pinstripes are generally reserved for "upper management", but what's the stance on a windowpane pattern like the following?..
I'm very fond of the fabric, but is wearing one in the workplace a major faux pas? My style does tend to be "out there" most of the time, but an office setting really isn't the place to be standing out in an obnoxious way.

Answer:
Windowpane *can* be too loud for business, but I don't think any but the absolute stodgiest would find that particular suiting "too much" for a business setting. In fact, the suit pictured is probably as (if not more) conservative as anything I own. You're safe.
Answer:
That's what I was thinking (hoping)
I imagine the prominence of the pattern would make a big difference. Something like the suit in the picture that had a subtle pattern would obviously be quite different than something with thick lines in some obnoxious color.
Answer:
Correct, suit pictured is subtle enough for business. The color of the tie and pocket square (not too loud) also help.
