Black Fleece Suits Consensus?

Question:
So has the Forum come to any consensus on the Thom Browne Black Fleece suits? I tried one on yesterday and was surprised by how nice it was and how well it fit. It made my 1400 suit look cheap next to it, but $2900 seems pretty steep.
Did we figure out who made the suits? Thanks
Answer:
I love mine.
Someone can ID the maker off of this I'm sure:

The ones I saw had the sleeve button holes cut. Do they offer to alter the sleeves from the shoulder?
There's a TB sport coat/ski jacket-like thing replete with "authentic" ski patches at the NMLC at Woodbuy. Believe the price was around $1100 or so. It's a size 3, whatever that is.
For the same aesthetic, a more flattering fit and a lot less cash, I would look at FSC.

Go pick up the TB ski jacket for me. I'll pay pal you the $.
Answer:
What is FSC?
Answer:
Only if the payment consists of me cuffing you upside the head.

Looks like the same tag from Ralph Lauren Black Label.

I want this jacket so bad. Do they run true to size, or should I size down (can't go up as they don't seem to have XL)?

Answer:
I tried on a suit this past weekend and the BB2 was a great fit for me. I was surprised at how well it was constructed. Having said that, it is a little too fashion-forward for me at my age. And $2900 is steep, at least for me, in a piece that could easily become dated. The line in general is just not my style and I find some of the selections over the top. It is a daring move on the part of BB and I certainly do wish them success. But I'm not plunking down the credit card for one.

Answer:
Yes, I tried on a BF suit and it was rather nice.
Contrary to SoCal2NYC's assertion that thin people do not look good in BF, I think it does, at least for some.
Answer:
I was similarly impressed with the quality of the BF suits. I'm not impressed with the value. Maybe 50% off retail I'd consider.
I also don't like the little locker loop at the collar, and not enamored with the two sleeve buttons look (they are also premade functional).
I'm most interested in the overcoats.
Answer:
I would say true to size and slim. I'm a 41 and I wear a medium in that jacket.

Answer:
I think what I was trying to express LK is that you don't have to be rail thing like a Dior Homme model to look appropriate in Thom Browne or BF.
You could easily have the locker loop removed.
Answer:
I'm a 38 and the small fits perfectly. I've got the khaki one that's on sale now. Definitely one of my favorite pieces of clothing.
Answer:
I must admit that I'm liking them a lot. I couldn't wear them to my office, but I will (and am) be investing in the sportswear.
