Does anyone make moleskin topcoats/covert coats? Plus general questions on moleskin

Question:
Does anyone make a moleskin topcoat or covert coat in the $500-700 range? I currently have my eyes set on a covert coat being sold in a local store near me, but I was curious if I had any other options in that price range. Google seems to be useless here as far as moleskin goes, as my searches keep pulling up results for Harry Potter and Armani Exchange.
And a few extra questions on moleskin in general:
* How does it wear in the long run?
* Will it pill in any way?
Answer:
Maybe not as nice as you're looking for, but Banana Republic has one for $250:

Answer:
ebay seller NITRO or whatever his name is has a few isaia that look like they could be moleskin.
I've never had moleskin pill, but I have had it wear thin and bag at the knees a little.
Answer:
I have one from Zegna from two years ago. Feels smooth like velvet and soft like felt. Not the warmest coat I have, but perfect for evening wear. I'm guessing that it won't pill, but the pile will wear in places.
Answer:
RJ sells moleskin topcoats.
Answer:

Thanks for reminding me about those. It looks like he still has a couple and I'll have to check those out later. He has lots of great coats right now.
Yeah, I was guessing that they probably would. I'm also guessing that they would be out of my price range.
Answer:
Ralph Lauren has moleskin topcoats in a variety of earth shades. They're pretty cool; I was tempted by them myself.
Answer:
In store only? I can't find anything on their website.
Answer:
Might be from last year's range, I guess. I found them in my local outlet. Corneliani-made Polo, if that helps narrow down the range. A little pricey for moleskin (similar to the price for a wool overcoat), but the cut was rather nice.
Answer:
I've not had moleskin pill or wear too bad in the crotchal/arm pit area. For the most part moleskin is corduroy w/o the ridges.
Answer:
Thanks for confirming that. I'm fine with cord-like wear, but I hate it when I have fabric that pills.
Answer:
Talking of RL moleskin... depending on your size, I may have something you might be interested in. Won't be up for sale until Sunday though. :)
Answer:
Speaking of corduroy, shopthefinest.com (Ian D.) has some great cord coats by Cucinelli for sale on eBay if you want to go that route instead of moleskin.
Answer:
