Are Charles Tyrwhitt shoes worth the price? There is a 50% off sale going on so I am debating, debating, debating.
Also, how are these sized compared to normal AE's (I wear 8.5D).

My Tyrwhitts were fine for the heavily discounted sale price. They are reputed to be rebranded lower-end Loakes. I would not spend more than 50% of retail. I find them to fit inconsistently. Some are similar to my A&Es, some a bit larger. YMMV.

Be very careful with the sizes......they are some of the largest shoes I have ever tried on....fortunately, they have a good return policy.

My girl got me a pair of suede shoes that I use as daily walk around shoes for like $90 that for the price I think is excellent. They are the same price as any sketchers, bostonians, or any other mainstream bottom end shoe and much better made to me.
One could say that you can get better deals on ebay, which you can, but I don't do ebay for shoes usually. I think it's a good deal for buying shoes directly from a store brand new.

all of my shoes are 10.5 and 11's, i should've ordered the CT chesea boots in 9's since the 9.5's have gotten a bit too stretched.
oh and it took 3-4 months to get receive my pair, even though they never got sold out on the website.

Ódd, I just used it (as posted, w/o correction) to order a pair of shoes. It wasn't my first order and I received 50% off. I was expecting something to go wrong but my card has now been charged the 50% off price plus shipping.
