Rolling up sleeves neatly

Question:
I prefer rolled up shirt sleeves to be somewhat messy, but I see some people (mostly in magazines, but sometimes in real life) with very neatly folded over / rolled shirt sleeves.
How is this achieved?
Answer:
Fold it before you wear it. Or ask someone to fold it for you.
Answer:
Ditto.
Answer:
I think it looks way too calculated to have it perfectly rolled... in a very "I'm a politician and a man-of-the-people" sort of way. There's a reason the saying is "time to roll up your sleeves," and it isn't so you can have your little pristine, creased folds.
That said- there's no reason to go out of your way to be messy. Just do it.. don't put too much thought into something so trivial.
Answer:
I'm not a politician but i do love to roll up my sleeves in a messy way....
Why? Try laziness ,lack at self-awareness or simply trying to be comfortable...
Be comfortable with yourself and you will notice that most people do not notice this kind of thing except in public figures...
Answer:
It's not hard to roll them up neatly... just take your time when you're doing it...
Answer:
Take your time and I like to make sure each fold is the same size.
Answer:
This is easy dude, fold the sleeves before you want to wear the shirt then iron them once you've folded them, they need to be neatly folded but it will keep them neat all day. Personally i'm a sleeves loosely/untidily rolled up kind of guy(especially if you've got a nice watch to show off! Lol!) But to each their own!
Answer:
wow fold it up before wearing, AND ironing afterwards? that's insane
Answer:
+1
Answer:
Yeah, I mean I normally roll them up if I get too hot, not as a look all onto itself. My life is not an A&F store.
Jon.
Answer:
That's borderline obsessive compulsive disorder!!!!!
Fold them up and then iron them!!!
At what time do you wake in the morning?
Answer:
I actually prefer the look of rolled up sleeves if: I'm wearing an untucked l/s button up shirt (which is almost every day). I actually think it looks better to roll up my sleeves at all times when wearing such a shirt in a casual way. I think the only way I wear them unrolled is w/ a jacket. or some other outer layer like a sweater. If it's a dressier shirt tucked into slacks, then this doesn't apply.
Answer:
Have a tailor fold your sleeves for you, perfectly measuring each fold in an exact increment
Answer:
There is a special way to fold up your sleeves if you want that perfect look and it's actually not a simple roll as you might think. It's used by some sections of the military - I'll try to dig up a diagram online somewhere.
