quality t-shirts <$30

Question:
I'm looking for some nice quality t-shirts that are under $30 and would be flattering for a muscular build(not huge).
soft, comfortable, high quality.
i need some plain ones and some graphics. nothing too trendy though.
if someone knows of some organic cotton ones that would be cool too.
i'd love to here your recommendations.
thanks
Answer:
hey, you can check out american apparel, http://store.americanapparel.net/ for some quality solid tee shirts. it doesnt really have graphic ones though.
Answer:
i bought some plain ones of aa and gap.
i need some graphic t's of nice soft cotton. any suggestions?
Answer:
The Lands End layering tees are slim fit and only $12 a pop. I like them a lot. The cotton holds up nicely.
Answer:
American Apparel is complete shit. Paper thin and lose their shape quickly.
I've always bought Banana Republic's stretch crew. Durable, but not too beefy to layer, soft, with just enough give, nice short sleeves, and they always hit at my belt, exactly where a tee should.
Answer:
you can find great ones on www.urbanoutfitters.com as well. highly recommend the faded union jack tshirt, and there are lots of cool graphix to choose from. you might find some rocker tshirts on sale from time to time at www.neimanmarcus.com as well
Answer:
If you don't mind somewhat of a trendy look, BC Ethic, Barneys NY, and Positano make extremely soft and fitting shirts. Some of the designs look hellacious though!
Answer:
how do the Banana Republic tees compare to the Gap tees?
Answer:
i would say banana republic and gap tees are identical qualities, and not very good at that. I bought three plain BR tees about a month ago, and the thread has come out the waistband on two of them, after only three washes.
Answer:
Gap tees? why not get something slightly different?
I'm pretty sure all the graphic tees at BR are all just logos of banana republic, which probably isn't the way you want to go.
The guys in the streetwear forum would be better to ask, but here are some tshirt ideas:

Answer:
Funny; I bought three two years ago and not only have they held up with no damage, but they've maintained their colour.
Answer:
hmm, well, then take my post with a grain of salt. perhaps their quality has gotten worse recently. to be fair, i had a sample size of 3.
Answer:
+1---Lands end gets a bad rap for a lot of thier stuff-- and deservingly so--but the t shirts are top notch and launder better then ANYother t shirt ive had...
Answer:
anyone ever tried anvil t-shirts?
they have an organic line that's like $5 a pop. anyone bought these?
Answer:
I haven't tried the organic line, but I do have a couple of Anvil t-shirts (one short sleeve and one long sleeve).
They seem quite comfortable and have worn well.
However, they are sized quite small ("L" fits like an "M" on me).
