My shoes are getting fuct!

Question:
I recently bought a new pair of Allen Edmonds (the Fall Weybridge in chili) for work. I like them a lot, but for my new job I have to wear dress shoes nearly every day and they are my only pair of brown dress shoes. I don't really like wearing black dress shoes so I find myself wearing these almost every day. But they're already starting to crease. Is the only way to prevent this to just not wear them much? I put shoe trees in immediately when I get home and take them off but that doesn't seem to be enough. Is there anything else I can do short of the obvious which is just not wear them?
Answer:
Good shoes need some rest between wearings. I hate to sound like Marie Antionette, but couldn't you get two more pair and start a rotation? The expense will pay for itself by extending the life of your shoes.
Answer:
Can you not buy another pair in brown? Then you could rotate, at least.
Answer:
If you can't get another pair, wear the brown shoes M, W and F, and the black shoes on T and Th.
And hit ebay up for another pair of brown AE's in the same size - you might be able to get something brand new for only $80 or $100 if you're lucky. Some of the AE $200-225 slip-ons have been going for less than that.
Answer:
All shoes will crease. Your foot moves and flexes, the leather must move and flex with it. If the creasing is excessive, you likely are wearing the wrong size shoe.
Answer:
I think they fit ok. I bought them at the AE store in SF and had both feet measured.
I'm probably just wearing them too much but it took me forever just to find a pair of shoes that I like and the next Wilkes Bashford shoe sale isn't until after Christmas.
Answer:
1. search on ebay
2. search other department stores for sales (nordstrom, saks, nm? etc)
3. wear a pair of black shoes in between every brown shoe wear
Answer:
ANother vote for ebay. What siZe are you?
Answer:
like Tom said. the shoes all crease upon first wear . cmon.
Answer:
Get another pair or two.
Answer:
How much of a rest would you recommend between wearings?
To the OP, I'd recommend shell cordovan shoes for your next pair if you like your shoes with minimal creasing.
