Looking for spectator shoes

Question:
Where do I find them? I've looked at Paul Stuart, BB, NM, EG, JL, Alden, and so on. I couldn't find any. It's not the season for spectators, but still...

Answer:
I have these shoes and, for the price, you can't beat them. I know most people prefer the regular wingtip specs but I really like the look oif the captoes in this particular instance.

(I think it was AlanC who first found this deal.)
Answer:
Ahem. I do believe that was me!
You can also check ebay. I got a pair of Grenson specs for around $100-$150. I'd be cautious about spending much more than that for spectators unless I was absolutely certain I'd wear them a lot. They just aren't that versatile a shoe.
Answer:
Whoops, sorry chorse. I was afraid that would get me in trouble.
Answer:
don't c&g do a nice, if pricier, pair?
Answer:
I bought the same shoes as Chorse, they are great. However, I happened upon a pair of RLPL on super sale and had to pull the trigger. I'm happy I did, they are definitely nicer than the Grenson (though those are still nice) and they better be for being more expensive. If you definitely want an awesome pair of specs and don't mind dropping the coin (even though they are 50% off already), I think the M&H is the way to go.

Herring Shoes in the UK also sells for a lot less their Alfred Sargent manufactured (but fully lined instead of AS's half-lined) ivory & brown spectator. Corrected grain apparently but at less than US$250 for a shoe that will not be worn that often it is not too bad. Unless you find a nice pair on eBay of course.

Answer:
I had to search all over for a pair this past Spring. Just off the top of my head, I know that Plain Clothes in Bham, AL has some (maybe sold out after their Spring sale), as well as M.S. McClellan in Knoxville, TN.

You only think that because I'm ignored--the Cassandra of the forum!
However, since I got it here, my prescience seems a little less impressive.
