I'm going to a party tonight where the dress code is "london finance", workstyle. I'm not sure exactly what that means, but I'm planning to wear a Charcoal/Light grey pinstriped 2 button suit with black oxfords and either a white, a light lilac or a blue/white pinstriped (much thinner stripes than the suit) shirt. Red/black or blue/white/grey dotted tie.
Do people go dressed like that in london finance circles? What combination of shirts and tie will not fly?
