Hi Guys,
I have been wearing these work shoes everyday for the last 2 years and have just had new heels put on them. I always just use a buff up sponge with clear polish to clean them but now the shoes are starting to show scratches and scuffs.
I want to clean them with a solid brown color but the stitching would also turn brown and once I do it, there is no going back to the original style with the white stitching.
What do you think? Should I color them or continue polishing them with a clear cleaner?
Much appreciated.
Answer:
You can polish them with 'neutral' paste wax. I'd recommend using a brown cream first. You can apply it sparingly and avoid the stitching.
At the risk of stating the obvious, you need new shoes. You cannot wear the same shoes every day. It's amazing that those have lasted through 700 wearings,
Answer:
you can put brown paste where the scuffs are (toe and heel) and avoid the stitching. pretty simple.
Answer:
Hello
Your shoes look as if they were black, if that is the case I should use a black cream. I use Churches black cream on my black shoes. I would only use natual wax on light coloured shoes. Also a small amount of spit works wonders with the polish
