silk pocket square help

Question:
How do you guys keep your silk squares from falling down out of sight? I get so frustrated by this?
Answer:
falling out of sight? what size pocket squares do you own? I know that the silk hermes and burberry squares that I have are so large that they want to come out, rather than fall down
Answer:
Handwoven silk has more texture as does most woven necktie silk.
Both types of silk will solve the slipping problem.
Answer:
I have both sizes, Maybe im doing something wrong :(
Answer:
ok I will start buying some of those asap
Answer:
Im not a fan of wovn silk pocket squares. Are you unfurling your pocket squares, grasping them in the center, smoothing them down with your other hand like a badmington birdie then swooshing about half of the length back up before tucking the whole thing (birdie head facing up) into the pocket?
Answer:
If your silk square is too small to stay up, then neatly fold a small cotton handkerchief, and place it in the pocket below the silk square.
Answer:
that's a great idea, I never thought of that with the few really small pocket squares that I have.
as far as prepping the square to be placed in the pocket, I hold the square by all four corners, and shake it (so it kina parachuttes(sp?)) then I choose which part I would like to show, and crumple/tuck as I see fit.
I hope this explanation helps, not sure that it translated to words so well.
