I'm looking for a slim top coat that has decent construction. I have tried to find some on ebay, but most are cut like a rectangle. I went to H&M and the top coats are cut very nicely. Like everything else in H&M however, the cut is compromised by the quality. Are there any other options out there that won't leave a college man hurting in the wallet region? Prime sales season is coming up so i plan to take full advantage.

Is there no equivalent of TAT or inept for top coats?

You might try Filene's Basement or a near by outlet mall. K&G has a lot of overcoats.

yea, i have checked out those types of places, but what they have is a lot of lauren by ralph lauren topcoats that look like what a 45 year old high school teacher from the suburb who teaches in the bronx might wear.

Keep in mind that overcoats can be altered. Find the best fit in the shoulders and chest, and let a tailor take care of the rest.
